Wamenag: Penyiapan Naskah Khotbah Shalat Jumat Bukan Bentuk Intervensi

Wakil Menteri Agama Zainut Tauhid Sa’adi menegaskan, penyiapan naskah khotbah shalat Jumat oleh Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) bukan merupakan bentuk intervensi pemerintah terhadap para dai dan penceramah. Penyusunan naskah khotbah shalat Jumat ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan alternatif bagi para khatib dalam menyampaikan materi khotbahnya.

“Jangan diartikan sebagai bentuk intervensi, apalagi pembatasan hak asasi para dai, ustadz, mubalig, dan penceramah agama,” kata Zainut, melalui keterangan tertulisnya, Sabtu kemarin.

Zainut mengatakan, penyiapan naskah khotbah Jumat merupakan bentuk pelayanan keagamaan Kementerian Agama kepada masyarakat. Ia juga menambahkan bahwa dalam penyusunan naskah khutbah Jum’at Kemenag akan melibatkan para ulama, praktisi dakwah, akademisi, dan para pakar di bidangnya. Menurutnya, Kemenag hanya berperan sebagai fasilitator.

“Pelibatan ulama, praktisi dakwah, dan akademisi penting untuk menghasilkan naskah khutbah Jumat yang sesuai dengan ketentuan agama, berkualitas dan relevan dengan dinamika sosial,” ucap Zainut.

Tema Naskah Khotbah Shalat Jumat yang Akan Disusun Kemenag

Wamenag menambahkan, beberapa tema yang akan dibuat sebagai naskah khotbah Shalat Jumat oleh Kementerian Agama, antara lain terkait akhlak, pendidikan, globalisasi, zakat, wakaf, ekonomi syariah, masalah generasi milenial dan isu-isu aktual lainnya.

“Khotbah Jumat juga perlu membahas masalah kekinian berikut solusinya. Itu menjadi salah satu fokus dalam penyusunan naskah khotbah ini,” ungkap Zainut Tauhid.

Memperkaya Khazanah Bagi Para Khatib

Sementara itu Staf Khusus Menteri Agama Kevin Haikal mengatakan, naskah khotbah yang disiapkan tersebut diharapkan bisa jadi alternatif dalam menyampaikan khotbah, dan bukan sebagai bentuk ketidakpercayaan kepada para ulama, kiai atau habaib.

“Penyusunan naskah khotbah Jumat semata-mata dengan tujuan memperkaya khazanah bagi para khatib,” kata Kevin dalam keterangan tertulis yang dilansir dari laman Kementerian Agama, Sabtu (28/11/2020).

Menurut Kevin, penyusunan naskah khotbah tersebut dibuat hanya sebagai alternatif, sehingga tidak ada keharusan untuk menggunakannya. Ia mencontohkan negara yang mengatur khotbah Shalat Jumat, antara lain Arab Saudi dan Uni Emirat Arab. Namun menurutnya, Indonesia tidak akan melakukan seperti halnya dua negara itu. “Naskah-naskah yang disiapkan Kemenag bukan sesuatu yang mengikat atau wajib dibaca khatib saat khutbah seperti di negara-negara tadi,” ujar Kevin.

Materi yang disiapkan, menurut Kevin, juga diproses melalui tahapan kajian yang panjang dengan melibatkan ulama, pakar, praktisi, dan akademisi.

Usulan seperti ini, kata dia, pernah digulirkan oleh Bawaslu RI saat Pilkada Serentak 2018 lalu. “Jadi penilaian bahwa pemerintah paranoid, apalagi tidak percaya kepada para ulama, jelas tidak berdasar dan mengada-ada. Ini perlu diluruskan agar tidak menimbulkan kesalahpahaman dan kegaduhan di masyarakat, jangan sampai di salah-tafsirkan,” tuturnya.

Kementerian Agama membuka diri bagi siapa saja yang ingin memahami lebih jauh tentang program ini.
