Testing Covid-19: 86% Terkonfirmasi Negatif

Satgas Covid-19, Senin kemarin, merilis data terbaru. Dari hasil tracing terhadap 2,5 juta warga masyarakat, menunjukkan 86% terkonfirmasi negatif, sedang sebesar 14% nya positif. Dalam keterangannya, Jubir Satgas Penanganan Covid-19, dr Reisa Brotoasmoro, menyatakan bahwa penanganan Covid-19 di Indonesia makin menunjukkan hasil yang baik.
“Sekali lagi kita sampaikan apresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada para petugas yang terkait. Kerja keras mereka luar biasa,” imbuh Reisa, seperti disiarkan kanal YouTube Sekretariat Presiden, pada 19/10/2020.
Pencapaian ini tak lain berkat kerja keras ratusan tenaga kesehatan yang pantang menyerah dalam menangani kasus Covid-19. Menurut Reisa, pemerintah dan masyarakat mengapresiasi kerja keras mereka serta mendukung kinerja mereka. Bentuk dukungan kita adalah dengan patuh akan protokol kesehatan yang dicanangkan oleh pemerintah serta disiplin terhadap 3M, yakni menjaga jarak, memakai masker, serta mencuci tangan.
Meski demikian, Reisa menekankan bahwa kita masih memiliki pekerjaan rumah, yaitu angka positivity rate sebesar 14%. Persentase itu menyatakan ada sekitar 3000-4000 kasus baru per-harinya dan masih harus ditekan lagi. Saat ini pasien Covid-19 yang masih dalam perawatan atau kasus aktif sebanyak 63.380 kasus yang dirawat pada 840 rumah sakit rujukan, isolasi mandiri atau tempat karantina yang disediakan pemerintah di berbagai daerah.
Sementara untuk upaya treatment ada 289.243 pasien sembuh. Dan angka kesembuhan atau recovery rate mencapai 79% yang terus ditingkatkan per minggunya. Angka kesembuhan ini juga menunjukkan peningkatan jika dilihat per-pekan selama Oktober ini. Pekan kedua Oktober angka kesembuhan 76,48% dan pekan ketiga meningkat menjadi 78,85%.
“Tentunya kita sepakat bahwa upaya kita tidak hanya melindungi generasi kita saja. Tetapi juga melindungi generasi penerus, dan memberikan pembelajara kepada mereka, yang mungkin di masa depan akan menghadapi pandemi lainnya.
